ABOUT US

Our co-ed team is open to any high school student in the Eugene/Springfield area. Historically: South, Marist, Sheldon and Churchill high schools have participated. No alpine/downhill ski race experience required but skiers should be intermediate or better to participate.

We are part of the Oregon Interscholastic Ski Racing Association (OISRA).  We race Giant Slalom (GS) and Slalom courses. Our season runs from early December through February, with the State Championship in early March. Regular season races are located at Willamette Pass and Hoodoo.

Not only do we train, we also have a lot of fun! There is plenty of time to free ski, and enjoy meals together. We have a passion for skiing and spending time with our team. Not much beats that!

On the hill training is at Willamette Pass. Each teammate works together to set practice courses and clean up. It's nice to get the hard work in then enjoy the rest of the day free skiing with family and friends.

Dry-land training is in Eugene at a local high school. The dry-land coach keeps our skiers in shape with strength and conditioning.

Our league has six regular season races with high schoolers from Sisters, Corvallis and Redmond. Not only are they competitors, we get to know them and make new friends from all over the state!  We also have opportunities to race at Mt. Hood, Mt. Ashland and Mt. Bachelor. 

On race days our team has time to warm up in the lodge and grab a bite to eat together. Parents work together to make sure these kids fuel up before heading back out to shred!  

Our athletes receive on and off the hill training and supervision. We are so grateful for the valuable leadership our athletes receive from our coaches and volunteers.

Our athletes have the opportunity to qualify for state as individuals and by team. The venue changes every year, but wherever we go we have an absolute blast competing against other high schoolers in the state of Oregon.
